Course Policies

At SBLJ, our safety, health and ability to operate comfortably are taken very seriously for many reasons.

Please take the time to familiarise yourself with our policies before booking.
These policies are non-negotiable. Thank you for understanding.

Payments

All courses require a non-refundable/non-transferable 25% deposit to book and secure with the remaining 75% due 48 hours prior to the start date of your course. All payments are non-refundable/non-transferable. Courses can be rescheduled with enough notice given.

Online Payments

There are a few options you can choose from when paying for your course.

- You can pay the full amount through our website via credit card or Afterpay.

- You can email sculpturedbylaurajane@gmail.com to request a payment plan.

You will be required to pay the upfront cost of a 25% non-refundable/non-transferable deposit with the remaining due 48 hours prior to commencement of the course.

- No credit checks
Your credit history will not be checked to enter a payment plan.

- No set repayments

As long as the total amount of the course is paid 48 hours prior to commencement. Failure to pay the total amount will result in your course being automatically cancelled and deposits forfeited. Unless arranged with SBLJ otherwise.

Afterpay cannot be used for part payments.

Please do not make the payment through our website if you wish to enter a payment plan. If you do, the payment cannot be reversed.

No Children/Under 16's

Due to insurance and OHS standards, all children/under 16's are prohibited to attend all training courses.

Should you arrive with an accompanying party or under 16yo, you will be asked to leave and all payments/deposits will be forfeited.

You will no longer be able to book with SBLJ.

Course Arrival

Early Arrival

All students are entitled to a full training course and there may be a student in session before you.

If you arrive early, please message/phone to advise of your early arrival before knocking.

This will ensure a comfortable, personal and full training session to each student.

Late Arrival

Students that are 30+ minutes late for their courses will unfortunately need to reschedule and will be considered a "no show" and any payments will be forfeited. A new 25% non-refundable/non-transferable deposit will be require to book again. If you are going to be running late or need to reorganise your arrival time, please message/phone to advise. We understand "things happen" so we try to be flexible. Communication is key.

Unwell or Sick?

If you are unwell or sick, please reschedule your training course. If you attend and are showing signs of being unwell or sick, unfortunately you will be asked to leave and all payments/deposits will be forfeited.

You will no longer be able to book with SBLJ.

Cancellations

All payments are non-refundable/non-transferable. Courses can be rescheduled with enough notice given.

If you have any issues arise, please communicate this with us asap so we can find a solution to suit both parties.

48 hours prior - Training courses can be rescheduled up to 60 days from your reschedule date.

Any payments made will be used to secure the new booked date.

After 48 hours/The day of - Due to the lack of notice, all payments/deposits will be forfeited. You will be required to pay for the next course in full,

should you wish to rebook. This policy will be used at our discretion.

No Show - Cancellations without notice or late comers (more than 30 minutes late) without notice are considered a "no show".

Any payments/deposits made will be forfeited. You will be required to pay for the next course in full, should you wish to rebook.

Change of minds - Under no circumstance will payments be refunded due to "change of mind". If you can no longer attend your training, please let us know and we will send you a cancellation email for confirmation. No deposits or payments will be returned to you.

Please be sure that you won't be on holiday/moving location etc when booking your course as all payments are non-refundable/non-transferable.

No exceptions.

SBLJ reserves the right to reschedule any students/training course, 48 hours prior to commencement. No payments will be refunded.

Any payments made will be held as a secured deposit for a future booking with no expiry date.

Covid-19 Policies

Due to COVID-19 safety measures, please attend your course alone unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon by SBLJ.

During restrictions or if SBLJ require masks to be worn, you will be given one or you're welcome to bring your own.

- Please reschedule if you have travelled to any of the current hotspots/exposure sites within the last 30 days.

- Please reschedule if you're showing signs of being unwell eg. cough, runny nose, sore throat, headache etc.

- Please reschedule if you've been in contact with anyone who has traveled to any of the current hot spots in the last 30 days

or who is showing signs of being unwell.

Please don't attend with snacks/food to eat during your training with the idea of being "mask free".

No food will be permitted during the course but tea breaks/lunch breaks will be offered to you.

During Covid-19 restrictions or if SBLJ require masks to be worn, single wrapped food and sealed water will be provided to you.

If you attend unwell etc, you will not be granted access to SBLJ home salon for training and you will be asked to leave and all payments/deposits will be forfeited. You will no longer be able to book with SBLJ.

A digital COVID-19 Consultation Form will be emailed to you when your booking is confirmed. Completing this form is required before attending your course. If this form is incomplete, you will not be given access to SBLJ home salon for training and you will be asked to leave and all payments/deposits will be forfeited. You will no longer be able to book with SBLJ.

In the case of a COVID-19 lockdown, no payments will be refunded. When the nail industry can operate as normal with Government approval, your course will be rescheduled to a date that is suited to both parties.

If you need to reschedule due to being unwell, please give as much notice as possible. No deposits will be lost.
It can be used to secure a new date up to 60 days from the date of reschedule.

We understand that paying for a training course can be a great deal of money for some and unfortunately sometimes, complications can arise.

If you're feeling "under the weather", you're feeling exhausted or you're coming down with "something".

We would prefer to reschedule with you. This includes severe hay fever, due to the spread of germs.

Sometimes we're contagious before showing symptoms of being sick so please give as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule.

Don't be complacent, especially during these unprecedented times.

At SBLJ, it's important to us that we limit the amount of germs spread as much as possible.

We would rather be safe than sorry. Thank you for understanding.

By making a secured deposit and booking with SBLJ, you are agreeing to the above terms & conditions.
